An arrest warrant is an arrest warrant issued by a court against a person for a specific crime.
Warrant is a power available with the court by which a person can be asked to appear before the court for any act committed by him. This jurisdictional power is with both the judge and magistrate of the court. can issue warrants

The duration of the warrant is stated under Section 70 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in which the warrant can be canceled by the court by which it is issued and the period for cancellation of the warrant can be canceled by issuing it. Even if the warrant remains in force for a period of time, it can only be revoked by the court.
In a criminal offense, the police can arrest a person even without an arrest warrant under Section 41 CrPC. If a person is involved in any suspicious activity or an FIR is registered, the police issues an arrest warrant or arrests him if he does not appear for the hearing of a case. warrant is issued
On the acts done by the person or during the FIR, the court first issues summons asking him to appear before the court and provide information regarding the case. A certain amount and security is required from the person against whom this warrant is issued. After paying this security and amount, the person is released on bail.

- Jurisdiction of the court issuing the warrant – The court issuing the warrant to arrest the person should be within the jurisdiction of its jurisdictional limit. If the jurisdiction is not within the jurisdiction of that court, then in that case the warrant should be sent to any district by post. The Executive can send a Magistrate or Superintendent of Police or Commissioner of Police under whose jurisdiction the area falls and the process of warrant can be initiated by that officer.
